Local Election for President

The Election for Local President of ETFO-WRTL is on October 13th, at 4:30 p.m., Ballroom A at Bingemans.

There will be speeches from all three candidates, then the voting process.
You will not be able to leave the room during voting.
It would be appreciated if you could bring a pen with you; it will make Amanda’s job a little easier.

In the event that another position is vacated because of the election of President, there will not be another election on October 13th.
That election, should it be necessary, will take place at the Fall Business Meeting on November 1st.

Child Care/Dependent Care forms and a light snack will be available at the election.

Please look in the ETFO Elections subconference in the ETFO Conference for candidate messages.

Below are the by-laws in our current local constitution that deal with election of a local executive member.

WHAT
Day With A Difference is a one-day conference for girls in grade 7 and 8. It is an exciting day filled with hands-on workshops by female presenters from careers based in science, math and technology.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottle for use during the day. Juice and pop will be available at lunch time.

The day and workshops are for students only – parents drop off students at 8:30 AM and pick them up at 2:30 PM.

The conference costs $5.00 payable in advance by cheque. Details on payment will be sent with registration confirmation. A free memory stick will be provided to the first 200 registrants.
